Mercury is in RETROGRADE!? WHAT?!

Yep…it’s about that time. Mercury is in retrograde. From October 21st to November 11th there are going to be issues with technology, communication and transportation. Now I will admit I love stuff like this. I don’t know what it is, but anything regarding astrology or planets and how they affect people’s vibes fascinates me. For those that do not know what Mercury in retrograde means it is basically the following:

“Mercury rules your intelligence, mind, memory and, all types of communication ranging from talking and texting to writing. It also affects your self-expression, and communication style. In a more public sense, it rules commerce, computers, telephones, transportation and air travel. How Mercury functions in your birth chart explains a great deal about how you formulate ideas and how you share them. It indicates how you make sense of the everyday world you live in. During these three weeks called Mercury retrograde, your mental faculties are not functioning well; in fact they "go on vacation."
Under this planetary influence (which occurs three times this year), communications of all types go "haywire!" You'll experience misunderstandings and communication failures in such great abundance that you'll look up at the sky and stars and say, "What the hell is going on?" The answer is: Mercury is in Retrograde.”

I have definitely seen this around my work and personal life. Computers in our office are going nuts, travel plans for friends are delayed or cancelled, people are getting confused and messages are not being received. It is advised that you be careful during this 3-week period and don’t plan long trips, sign contracts, or make life changing decisions. Have you observed some weirdness going on around you? If so send me a tweet @Ritztorres and let me know I’m not the only experiencing some craziness around here! This will definitely be an interesting 3 weeks. At least some interesting stories will come out of it! J
