It's funny how we take the time to remember a few sentences that spark our passions, especially the words of others. There are surely countless websites out there full of quotes if one takes a few moments to use the power of Google.

In thinking about transitions and the shrinking countdown to graduation, many quotes have come to mind. From the spirited banter of George Carlin to the timeless intelligence of William Shakespeare, we each have a few quotes to reinvigorate ourselves during those moments the struggle seems all too real.

Here are a few of my favorite quotes:

1) It is far better to know our own weaknesses and failings than to point out those of another. - Jawaharlal Nehru
2) The thing that is really hard, and really amazing, is giving up on being perfect and beginning the work of becoming yourself. - Anna Quinlan
3) What do we live for if it is not to make life less difficult for each other? - George Eliot
4) Life begins to end the day we become silent about the things that matter. - Martin Luther King, Jr.

What are the quotes that you find helping you not only survive, but thrive as you work through the day?
