The End of Fall

As this week comes to an end, and grades are turned in, halls are closed, and end of semester programs are thrown, I think it is important for all of us to remember and reflect on how far we have each come professionally, personally, and as a group of wonderful Student Affairs professionals. There have been ups and downs, but if you look at it these as successes, as long as you've learned something, that's what really matters. First years- congrats! You've made your first semester a success!

Below I share a quote with you that has helped me get through this wonderful, crazy semester. If it helps, I invite you to use it in any part of your life necessary.
"You can either complain a rose bush has thorns, or you can rejoice a thorn bush has roses."

Good luck with wrapping up whatever the rest of the semester brings! And when it's all said and done, take a seat, watch the sunset, build a snowman, or do a dance. You've made it! We made it! Congrats!
